Intro/ Refresher to Longform Musical Improv Both Days

Musical Improv Thursday July 31 + August 1

Introduction to the basics of creating a  Longform Broadway Style improvised musical . We will be learning  how to create rhyming, and non rhyming lyrics, as well as  Song Structure, Rhythm, and Meter. Then, we will take all our new found musical skills and use them to play musical improv games together. The focus of this class is having fun, and learning to have confidence in your inner song. No experience necessary! Then onto the Want Song, the Location Song, and the Villain/ Protagonist Duet, or Villain solo song. This is just to have an amazingly fun time!!  Taught by Whidbey Improv, at the OutCast the Black Box Theater in Langley Fairgrounds
