Intro/ Refresher to Longform Musical Improv

Musical Improv Mondays starting August  18, 25th , Maybe Sept 1st, definitely the 8th, 15th, and 22nd

Introduction / refresher  to the joy of creating a  Longform Broadway Style improvised musical . We will be learning  how to create rhyming, and non rhyming lyrics, as well as  Song Structure, Rhythm, and Meter. Then, we will take all our new found musical skills and start building an entire musical, from the ground up. The focus of this class is having fun, and learning to have confidence in your inner song. No experience necessary though some improv helpful! Then a tour through the Musical Story spine with:  the Want Song, the Location Song, and the Villain/ Protagonist Duet, or Villain solo song, the Rumble song, the Resolution, and the breathtaking  Grand Finale!
